We are hiring!

Newark Foodbank are hiring a Session Coordinator to run our Foodbank and Social Supermarket sessions. Part-time: 16 hrs/wk (Operating 4 three hour sessions plus admin on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons) at £11.95 per hour. Initial Contract of 2 years subject to probation. Christmas Tree Festival

Volunteers from Newark Foodbank have decorated a tree for the Christmas Tree Festival at St.Mary Magdalene – Newark Parish Church.   Come along and support the event, which is a lovely part of our local Christmas celebrations.

21k Fundraising Effort

Holger Kessler and friends ran 21Km around Southwell on 2nd January 2021 to raise funds for Newark Foodbank.   Their target of £600 was easily beaten.   At the time of publishing it was already above £2,100 – over £100 per kilometre! Click here for their JustGiving page.
