Waitrose supermarket in Newark supported us by arranging a “food drive” which encoraged their customers to donate a total of over 380Kg of food for local people in need. 14 hikes in suppoprt of Newark Foodbank and Newark Women’s Aid

Kathryn Mays is taking on a 14 hike challenge in support of the Newark Town Mayor’s charities. Newark Foodbank are hiring a Session Coordinator to run our Foodbank and Social Supermarket sessions. Part-time: 16 hrs/wk (Operating 4 three hour sessions plus admin on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons) at £11.95 per hour. Initial Contract of 2 years subject to probation. Christmas Tree Festival

Volunteers from Newark Foodbank have decorated a tree for the Christmas Tree Festival at St.Mary Magdalene – Newark Parish Church.   Come along and support the event, which is a lovely part of our local Christmas celebrations.
