Give Help/Donate

Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

If you have a special collection to donate, please contact our collection coordinator on 01636 700213.

Over 90% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Bank Holidays – The warehouse will be open on Tuesdays when the Monday is a Bank Holiday.

Shopping list update February 2020

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now. Please do not donate items containing alcohol.    Also, please make sure the food is “in date”.   We cannot distribute out of date food, so please check the use by date on your donations.

You can download a one page full version of the shopping list by clicking here.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks or charities to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people in need in the Newark, Tuxford and the surrounding area.

Please contact our Donations Coordinator on 01636 700213 if you have any questions about donating food.
