Waitrose supports us with a food drive

Waitrose supermarket in Newark supported us by arranging a “food drive” which encoraged their customers to donate a total of over 380Kg of food for local people in need.

Foodbank volunteers handed out shopping lists showing our most needed items.  They also packed the donations for transport to our warehouse.   At the warehouse the donations were sorted and shelved ready for processing into the food parcels we give to clients referred to us.

A big thank you to all the Waitrose customers who donated to the food drive, and to our hard working volunteers.
